Disney On Ice Presents Mickey’s Search Party
An immersive Disney On Ice adventure that expands the action beyond the rink with figure skating, aerial performance, acrobatics, projection, interactive storytelling, and large-scale theatrical effects.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, Mickey’s Search Party sends Mickey, Minnie, and audiences on a quest to find Tinker Bell after Captain Hook attempts to capture her magic. The production moves through worlds inspired by Coco, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Moana, Aladdin, and other Disney favorites.
The production deliberately pushed Disney On Ice beyond the traditional rink, incorporating sway poles above the audience, aerial straps, tumble tracks, hoverboards, video projection, and performers appearing throughout the arena. Director Patty Vincent described it as an effort to bring the action closer to the audience and make guests part of the storytelling. Costume designer Ken Mooney created approximately 250 costumes for the production.
