Disney On Ice Presents Dare to Dream
A Disney Princess ice spectacular weaving together the stories of Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella, Snow White, and other beloved characters through skating, theatrical scenery, costumes, lighting, and spectacle.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream brought together a collection of Disney heroines whose stories center on courage, determination, and pursuing their dreams. Creative Director and Writer Jerry Bilik and Choreographer Cindy Stuart shaped the production, while the visual world was created by Scenic Designer Stan Meyer, Costume Designer Ivan Ingermann, and original Lighting Designer Peter Morse.
A major visual feature was Meyer’s revolving scenic centerpiece, which transformed to create multiple story environments. Lighting played an equally important role in separating those worlds, from the rich purple and pastel palette of Tangled to the darker atmosphere surrounding Snow White and the Evil Queen, culminating in the arena-filling lantern sequence from Tangled.
