Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival
A high-energy touring concert experience bringing more than 25 Disney characters together through live performance, contemporary music, dance, acrobatics, video, and theatrical spectacle.
Produced by Kenneth and Alana Feld, Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival reimagined classic Disney music as a contemporary live concert experience. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and characters from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Toy Story came together in a production combining music, dance, acrobatics, video projection, scenic transformations, and audience interaction.
Sam Doty served as Lighting Designer, creating a flexible touring design capable of moving from the energy of a pop concert to the distinctive worlds of each Disney story. His work was part of a creative team that included director/choreographer Fred Tallaksen, writer Jeremy Desmon, scenic designer Rick Papineau, costume designer Cynthia Nordstrom, and music director Stan Beard.
