Disney’s Phineas and Ferb: The Best LIVE Tour Ever!
A high-energy touring stage adaptation of Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb, combining live character performance, rock-concert energy, elaborate scenery, video, special effects, and nearly 1,000 lighting and video cues.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, Disney’s Phineas and Ferb: The Best LIVE Tour Ever! brought the animated world of Danville to the stage in a production combining action-adventure storytelling with the energy of a live rock concert. The show toured extensively throughout North America and featured familiar characters, music from the television series, original choreography, large-scale scenic pieces, video, and special effects.
As Lighting Designer, Sam Doty created a design incorporating nearly 1,000 lighting and video cues and 27 custom gobo patterns. His lighting transformed the stage from Phineas and Ferb’s sunny backyard into environments including Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s purple-and-green laboratory while supporting the production’s rapid transitions and elaborate scenic effects.
