Celebration Lake – Callaway Gardens

Celebration Lake at Callaway Gardens transformed a natural outdoor setting into a large-scale nighttime entertainment environment, using theatrical technology to create an experience across water, landscape, architecture, and expansive viewing distances.

Sam Doty served as Lighting Designer, approaching the environment itself as the stage. His design used light to transform the lake and surrounding landscape after dark, establish scale and depth, direct audience focus, and integrate the natural setting into the visual storytelling of the experience.
