MythBusters: Behind the Myths Tour brought Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman’s distinctive combination of science, experimentation, problem-solving, and humor from television to the live stage. The touring production incorporated onstage experiments, demonstrations, audience participation, video, and behind-the-scenes stories from the series.
Sam Doty served as Lighting Designer, creating a touring design capable of moving fluidly between theatrical presentation, scientific demonstration, multimedia, audience interaction, and larger visual moments. The lighting provided the clarity necessary for audiences to follow live experiments while giving the production the energy and visual scale of a major touring event.
