Halloween on Ice: Behind the Screams is a Nickelodeon behind-the-scenes special documenting the creation of Nancy Kerrigan’s Halloween on Ice. Presented as part of the NickSports programming block, the special follows the performers and creative team as they prepare the touring production for the ice.

Contribution

Matthew Solomon appeared as the production’s Costume Designer, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the process of creating theatrical costumes for professional figure skating. His work included the show’s vividly colored witches and contributed to a larger Halloween world populated by vampires, monsters, pumpkins, and other fantastical characters.

The costumes were designed to establish character and support the production’s storytelling while accommodating the movement, visibility, and technical demands of performance on ice.
