Disney Live! Mickey’s Rockin’ Road Show
A live touring Disney adventure following Mickey Mouse and friends on a road trip to find performers for a talent show, combining character performance, music, choreography, scenic spectacle, and theatrical lighting.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, Mickey’s Rockin’ Road Show took Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy on a live theatrical road trip through Disney worlds as they searched for acts for Mickey’s talent show. The touring production incorporated characters and stories from properties including Cinderella, Toy Story, and The Tigger Movie.
Sam Doty served as Lighting Designer, developing a touring lighting environment capable of supporting the production’s changing locations, musical numbers, character entrances, and large-scale scenic moments. The production was one of Sam’s early Disney Live! lighting design credits and preceded his work on Mickey’s Music Festival. Contemporary Feld material specifically identifies both productions among his lighting design credits.
