Overview

Neurosis is an original musical comedy exploring the anxieties, insecurities and inner voices that complicate modern relationships.

Directed by Andy Sandberg, the Off-Broadway production played the DR2 Theatre in New York City.

Critical Reception

“While Michael McDonald’s costumes do not provide the characters a big wardrobe, they do define them instantly.”— TheaterScene.net

Contribution

Matthew Solomon served as Co-Costume Designer with Michael McDonald, creating a contemporary wardrobe that helped visually distinguish the characters from the neuroses inhabiting their inner worlds.

The design used silhouette, color and character-specific details to establish personality quickly while supporting the production’s fast-paced musical comedy and ensemble staging.
