Overview

Produced by Up Until Now Collective, UP UNTIL NOW: midair for some time is a multisensory immersive installation exploring intimacy, connection, and Queer community. Developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project combines live performance, film, movement, music, American Sign Language, and wearable haptic technology that translates sound into vibrations felt on the body.

The installation incorporates the short music film UpUntilNow, commissioned by Beth Morrison Projects, which premiered at the Outfest Fusion QTBIPOC Film Festival before screening at NewFest in 2022. Matthew Solomon served as Costume Designer for the multidisciplinary project.
