A high-energy reimagining of The Greatest Show On Earth, Barnum Bash combined world-class circus acts, music, choreography, and theatrical production into an intimate arena experience designed to bring audiences closer than ever to the action.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Barnum Bash reinvented the traditional circus by creating a more immersive experience where audiences became part of the celebration. The production featured internationally acclaimed acrobats, aerialists, animal presentations, comedy, music, and interactive moments, all presented within the Gold Unit’s more intimate arena configuration.
Serving as Lighting Designer, Lighting Programmer, BlackTrax Designer, and BlackTrax Programmer, Samuel Doty created a lighting environment that elevated every performance while supporting the show’s theatrical storytelling. His design balanced dramatic spectacle with the close-up intimacy of the Gold Unit format, using synchronized lighting and performer tracking to enhance every act.
