Cirque Dreams Unwrapped brings the distinctive visual language of Cirque Dreams to the holiday season through a production built around circus artistry, acrobatics, comedy, dance, music, and theatrical spectacle.
Sam Doty has created lighting designs for multiple productions of Unwrapped during his longstanding work with Cirque Dreams. Each iteration has been treated as a new design, responding to changes in performers, specialty acts, staging, venues, and the evolving production itself. His lighting provides the precision necessary for circus performance while creating a cohesive visual world of color, movement, intimacy, and holiday theatricality.
